Bellarmine Preparatory School is a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition of education. Our guiding principle is that Bellarmine graduates will be Open to Growth, Intellectually Competent, Religious, Loving, and Committed to Doing Justice. The school was established in 1928 and currently enrolls 853 young men and women in grades nine through twelve. Bellarmine Prep is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
Grad Point Average: GPA is calculated using all courses taken except those courses which are taken for a Pass Grade. Grades are not weighted.
College Bound: Class of 2017

* 96% attend four-year college
* 2% attend two-year college
Honors Courses:
Honors classes are more comprehensive and offer a more intensive exposure to the subject matter. Placement in these classes is determined by standardized test scores and teacher recommendation. The course designation for honors is HB (HB = Honors/HEC Board Core Subject).

Advanced Placement Courses:
Advanced Placement classes are designed to prepare the advanced students for standardized exams which may lead to the students being granted college credit or advanced standing by the colleges they attend. The course designation for Advanced Placement is AB (AB = Advanced Placement/HEC Board Core Subject). In 2017, 363 candidates took 742 exams; 73% scored 3 or better.

In addition, students often choose to take AP Exams in the following courses: French, Economics, and Music Theory.
