The Academic Commons support the equitable access to materials and resources needed for academic and personal success at Bellarmine. Together the Orell Library and the Learning Resource Center form the Academic Commons.
|Learning Resource Center
Bellarmine’s Learning Resource Center (LRC) is open to all students and serves as a hub of academic support for student learning. The Center supports both student readiness and acceleration. The LRC is an extension of the classroom and works in partnership with faculty to support students. Students at Bellarmine are encourage to seek academic support and advocate for their learning needs. The LRC staff engage evidence-based practices to meet the needs of individual learner profiles, and are dedicated to cultivating expert learners who are purposeful, motivated, resourceful and accountable for their unique learning needs. Orell Library is a welcoming academic space. The library collection supports student information and research needs for classroom learning and enrichment The library staff promotes the ethical and responsible use of information and advocates for reading as a lifelong habit of scholarship and personal growth. The library is available to students before and after school, and during lunch for individual or small group study. Classes come to the library during the school day for instruction, individual or group research and collaboration. For more information, please click here.
