High School Placement Test

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a tool we utilize in the admissions process to assist with course placement for incoming freshmen. Registration for the HSPT and credit card payment of the $30 test fee can be done through your online account. Test takers should arrive 15 minutes early and bring several #2 pencils. For more information about the HSPT, please see the Scholastic Testing Service: Understanding the HSPT

We will be hosting a Prospective Parent Information Session and Social for parents/guardians during the first hour of the HSPT in the Connelly Campus Center. Refreshments and resources will be available. Some of the topics that will be covered are academic programs and placement, the philosophy of a Jesuit education, and our admissions process and tuition assistance program.

Students with documented learning differences may arrange for extended test time by providing a copy of their current documentation to Bellarmine (Attention: Kelly Goodsell) no later than one week prior to their registered test date. Students will be expected to begin testing during the Friday test period and return Saturday to complete the test. Readers will not be provided and students must finish by the end of the testing period on Saturday.

We offer the following four test dates. The HSPT needs to be taken only one time.
