2019-2020 Dances

Bellarmine is proud to offer several student dances throughout the academic year. These are joyful occasions for the student body to come together and celebrate. Dances are organized through the Activities Board's Dance Committee. 



Fall Dance:

Date: Friday, October 4, 2019
Time: Doors open after the home football game, and ends at 11:00 p.m.
Location: Connelly Campus Center, Bellarmine Campus
Theme: USA
Event Details: Doors close 20 minutes after the football game ends. Dance is for Bellarmine students only. ASB cards are required for entry into the dance. Cost to attend is free. Donations can be made at the door to help support families devastated by Hurricane Dorian. 


Homecoming:

Date: Saturday, November 2, 2019
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Location: Names Gym, Bellarmine Campus
Theme: Around the World
Cost: $15 per person
Event Details: Tickets will be sold October 28- November 1 in the Campus Center during both lunches. Bellarmine students are allowed to bring a guest to the dance, but a guest form needs to be filled out and approved prior to purchasing tickets. Guest forms need to be submitted to the Dean of Students by October 30, 2019. Guest forms are available in the Student Services Office, or can be located below. Student ID cards are required for enter into the dance. Doors close at 9:00 p.m. 


Senior Ball:

Date: Friday, December 6, 2019
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Location: Environmental Services Building, 9850 64th St W, University Place
Theme: Glow 
Cost: $10 per person
Event Details: Senior Ball is for Bellarmine seniors only. Tickets will be sold Dec 2-6 in the Connelly Campus Center during both lunches. Student ID cards are required for enter into the dance. Doors close at 9:00 p.m.

Winter Dance:

Date: Saturday, February 29, 2020
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Location: Connelly Campus Center, Bellarmine Campus
Theme: Decades/Throwback 
Attire: Casual 
Cost: $15 per person, or $10 per person with a can of food
Event Details: Dance is for Bellarmine students only. Tickets will be sold February 26-28 in the Connelly Campus Center during both lunches. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Student ID cards are required for enter into the dance. Doors close at 9:00 p.m. 


Prom:

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2020
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
Location: Tacoma Art Museum, 1701 Pacific Ave, Tacoma
Theme: TBD

General Dance Information 

  • Students who have outstanding JUG hours need to have a plan with Mrs. Harrison for completing service otherwise they will not be permitted to attend the dances. Please contact Mrs. Harrison (Dean of Students) for further questions or concerns. 
  • Faculty/staff members and security staff chaperone all dances to help ensure a safe and secure environment. 
  • Doors close at 9:00 p.m. for all dances. If students anticipate arriving later than 9:00 p.m. due to extenuating circumstances, parents need to contact Mrs. Achziger or Mrs. Zelazny by phone or email the Wednesday before each dance.
