  • We were honored to welcome author Jamie Ford to our first all-school webinar this fall. Jamie Ford is the author of Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, the book selected for our summer Bellarmine Reads program.
All School Webinar with Dr. Ralina Joseph - Wednesday, October 7, 2020
  • Dr. Joseph spoke to our students about "Interrupting Microaggressions" during which students shared examples of microaggressions they have experienced. Dr. Joseph shared effective strategies that can be used to respond to these types of hurtful statements.
Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly - Wednesday, January 20, 2021
  • Bellarmine’s 2021 Martin Luther King Jr. assembly focused on the theme of “Climbing the Mountain Top – Hope within the Pandemic.” During the virtual assembly, students heard from keynote speaker Dr. Jeff Hutchinson, CEO of Wade Alliance, who will speak to the effects of the pandemic on minorities and adolescents, along with coping mechanisms for mental health and to support students of color
All School Webinar with Erin Jones - Thursday, April 22, 2021
  • Erin Jones worked as an Executive for two Washington State Superintendents of Public Instruction and became the first Black woman to run for the office herself, a race she lost by a mere 1%. She focuses on action steps using the “Profile of Grad at Grad Principles” during her address.
