Annual Report 2011-2012

Community Caring 2011:
“Help me walk in the shoes of my brothers and sisters"
Community Caring, our spring student fundraiser, is a stand-alone project but it is part of a greater effort to raise funds for financial aid at Bellarmine.
“Help me walk in the shoes for my brothers and sisters…” is our theme for Community Caring this year. We believe this theme is fitting for our campaign as we ask students to take action by asking their friends and family to donate money specifically for financial aid through a letter writing campaign.
Support our students as they support each other by helping raise much needed funds to support Bellarmine’s commitment to affordability. In supporting our theme, Bellarmine students will participate in a school wide walk around campus, showing their willingness to walk in the shoes of their brothers and sisters.
Bellarmine Awards $2 Million in Financial Aid to 1/3 of Students
Bellarmine awarded $2 million in financial aid this year to one third of Bellarmine students (an average of $6,600/student). If every student reaches a fundraising goal of $200, Community Caring will be able to contribute $200,000 to Bellarmine's financial aid program.
