Bellarmine's Drama/Theater Program

The Drama Program at Bellarmine encompasses a variety of opportunities for students interested in the composition, production and performance of theater. Students put on two main stage productions each year: a dramatic play in the fall, and a musical in the spring. In addition to acting roles, students are responsible for all technical aspects of the programs, including lighting, sounds, sets, makeup and costumes.

Students may also perform in Bellarmine's Puppet Theatre; participate in writing, directing and performing one-act plays; and take additional courses for academic credit. Comprehensively, the Drama Program offers Bellarmine students a practical creative outlet, a working understanding of the theatrical arts, an opportunity to develop leadership skills, and a place to make lifelong friendships.

See awards for some of the awards Bellarmine's plays and musicals have won over the years.
