Dear Friend of Bellarmine,

This year?ў‚ЗЁ‚Сўs 2010 Bellarmine Pride Auction is ?ў‚ЗЁ?мInspired By Tradition." Last year underwriting donations from businesses like yours totaled to more than $85,000. This assisted us in raising over $300,000 for Bellarmine Preparatory School. We take this opportunity to thank you for your generous support. This year?ў‚ЗЁ‚Сўs event will take place March 27, 2010 at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. Our goal is to raise $340,000. In light of the current economic challenges that families and students face today, the Pride board recognizes the increase in financial demands and wants to continue our tradition of Jesuit education at Bellarmine.

As you know, Bellarmine is a Jesuit college preparatory school, which is committed to excellence in education. Our students?ў‚ЗЁ‚Сў education, futures, and well being are all nurtured and enriched within the community of Bellarmine. Thanks to generous support of people like you, Bellarmine has been able to create an enriching environment for growth both spiritually and scholastically.

As it states in our mission: ?ў‚ЗЁ?мBellarmine believes that the future of humanity lies in the hands of those who are strong enough to provide coming generations with reason, methods and resources for living and hoping.?ў‚ЗЁ¬щ Auction proceeds enable us to do just that; the funds raised will go to the immediate needs of the school and will continue to provide scholarships to students who would otherwise not be able to attend Bellarmine. The second portion of funds raised will go to the immediate needs of the school.

It is our goal to raise enough money through our underwriting efforts to cover all expenses, ensuring that proceeds from the auction go directly back to the students of Bellarmine. Through this effort, every student of Bellarmine will benefit. Please review our underwriting opportunities. With your support, we are investing in the future of Bellarmine students and the future of our community. The underwriting deadline is February 17, 2010 in order to make the catalog date. We appreciate the role that community resources play in the success of private education. The goal of our underwriting efforts is to finance the direct expenses involved in the production of this event.
