As a way of keeping costs down and involving parents in the school, Bellarmine offers a number of opportunities to volunteer in several different areas.
Volunteer with the Food Service Program
Bellarmine's food service program is seeking volunteers interested in helping with the student lunch program. Volunteers help serve lunch to students and staff and assist in the food preparation in between the two lunches. It's high energy, fun and generates fabulous camaraderie amongst the students and staff. The hours are 10:30am - 1:00pm on the days in which lunch is served. Please contact Patty Knodel at p.knodel@comcast.net for more information.
Volunteer in the Development Office
Here in the Development Office, volunteers are constantly needed for these or other jobs:
If you are interested in volunteering in the Development Office, please call (253) 752-6302 to learn more.
Volunteer in the Main Office
The Main Office is also in need of willing volunteers. If you are interested in working in the Main Office, please call the Main Office at (253) 752-7701. Duties include reception, copying and back-up assistance (on-call) in the main office. Days and times are flexible. Help is needed from 7:50 am - 2:30 pm. This is a great way to get to know Bellarmine faculty, staff and students -- as well as find out about school activities.
To continue the tradition of service, to welcome new people into the Bellarmine community, and to keep the education and welfare of our students first and foremost is the objective of Philomathea. Philomathea meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
By putting on an annual gala auction, PRIDE raises money for scholarships, endowments and unfinanced school needs. The auction takes place at the end of April and includes both silent and oral bidding. For more information on PRIDE Auction volunteer opportunities, please contact Lynn Miller, (253) 752-6302, ext. 542.
The Lion's Den Student Store
The Lion's Den/Student Store is run by volunteers. Please contact the Lion's Den to find out about opportunities.
