Meet the Head Coach
Bob Fiorito became the Lion's head boys cross country coach in 1994 after five years as a Bellarmine assistant track coach and seven years as the head coach at Tacoma Community College. Bob is a 1967 graduate of Seattle's Blanchet High School. While at Blanchet, Bob starred in both track and cross country, leading the Braves to a 5th place finish at the state cross country meet in 1966 and setting a school record in the mile in 1967. After competing in track and cross country at Shoreline Community College, Bob continued his education at Central Washington University. While running at Central, Bob set the school record in the marathon and competed at the national track and field championships.
Bob, who is employed by Farmers Insurance, is also the Bellarmine track coach. He and his wife, Julie, have two daughters -- Gina and Tara.
