As a Catholic school, we believe that Jesus' message is that God loves us, calls us to Him, and that all people are brothers and sisters. This provides a challenge for us. The call to be a follower of Christ, through the Church community and in service to the world, is one of continual conversion. It is our hope and prayer that Bellarmine, with the help of God's grace, is a place where this can begin and continue.
Campus Ministry at Bellarmine fosters a faith community that ministers to students, faculty, staff and administration. The Campus Ministry staff hopes to strengthen this faith community by providing opportunities for those it serves to respond to the call of Jesus Christ. Through its programs, retreats, retreat leadership opportunities, service and fellowship opportunities and team members, Campus Ministry enables members of the Bellarmine community to recognize their own gifts to serve others. Campus Ministry's goals are to:
Approximately 95% of the student body participates annually in at least one of our many religious retreats. We also sponsor school liturgies an adult formation program, and a student-led faith in formation program. Check the school calendar for specific event dates throughout the year.
Campus Ministry strives to prepare students for the future who are challenged to be open to growth, intellectually competent, religious, loving and committed to doing justice in the service of God and neighbor as outlined in The Grad at Grad. For more information, contact Campus Minister Jim Fish or other appropriate Campus Ministry staff members.
