Bellarmine Prep and Spirituality on Tap present:
Discerning Your Deepest Desires: An Advent Evening Retreat
Tuesday, December 1, 2009
6:45-8:30 p.m.
Bellarmine Prep's St. Aloysius Chapel
Presenter: Fr. John Fuchs S.J.
During this Advent season of hope and longing, let us be inspired by St. Ignatius, in his Spiritual Exercises, to pray for what we deeply desire. This requires the gift, and the work, of spiritual discernment, since what we want and what we really need are not always the same. What we really need?ɬø is, in fact, our deepest desire and also God's deepest desire and will for us. Let us come together this evening to better discern what that might be!
The Spirituality on Tap series of the Ignatian Spirituality Center is an opportunity for young adults (ages 18-39) to come together for fellowship and to learn a new style of prayer to incorporate into one?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s daily life.
The event rotates to a different parish throughout the Pierce County area. All young adults are welcome. Contact: Lucy at youth@stleoparish.org or at 253 272-5136 ext. 111 for questions regarding either event.
