C Team Schedule
Meet the Head Coach
Kevin Meines is assuming his 10th year this year as Bellarmine's head girls varsity basketball coach. Meines' coaching resume includes coaching experience at both the high school and junior high levels. For the two seasons prior to joining Bellarmine in the fall of 2003, Meines was the assistant varsity girls basketball coach at Kentlake, where he helped lead the team to two state tournament appearances and a 5th place finish in 2001.
Other coaching experience includes head baseball coach at Cedar Heights Junior High, 7th grade football coach at Cedar Heights Junior High, sophomore boys basketball coach -- Kentlake High, varsity football coach -- Cedar Heights Junior High, Head Girls Basketball and Assistant Boys Basketball Coach -- Carbonado School, Varsity Fastpitch Assistant, Volunteer Assistant Varsity Boys Basketall, Volunteer Assistant Varsity Football -- White River High School.
During his tenure as varsity girls basketball coach at Bellarmine, Meines' teams have won four consecutive Narrows League titles (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012). His teams have been to six state tournaments with trophies in four of those (2006, 2007, 2008 (8th), 2009 (8th), 2010 (4th), 2011 (6th)).
Meines was named Narrows League Coach of the Year in 2006, 2008, 2010, and 2011.
Coach Meines graduated from Central Washington with a BA in history and education in 1998. He teaches history at Bellarmine.
He is married to Brynn, who teaches English at Ballou Junior High in Puyallup. They have two children, Molly and Luke, and live in Sumner.
