Meet the Head Coach

Head Coach Dave Grisaffi began his wrestling career at age nine when he joined a youth wrestling team coached by longtime Bellarmine coach Steve Haase. After a very successful high school career at Stadium, Dave continued to wrestle at Central Washington University until a knee injury ended his career in his sophomore season.

Dave continued his undergraduate work at Western Washington University where he also began his coaching career at Sehome High School in Bellingham. Dave joined Steve Haase's staff at Bellarmine in 1989 and took the head coaching position in 1991 after coach Haase retired. A self-employed personal trainer, Dave and his wife, Whitney, live in the north end of Tacoma with their three boys Addison, Garrison, and Carson.
