Meet the Head Coach

Steve George B' 85 took over the Bellarmine golf program in 1991. In his eighteen years as head coach, Steve has led the Lions to nine Narrows League championships, 12 state tournament appearances, and five state championships.

As a player at Bellarmine, Steve was the number one ranked player on the Lion's 1985 state champion team. After graduation, he continued his education and playing career at Tacoma Community College and Oregon State University before returning to Tacoma to begin his teaching career at St. Charles Borromeo School. Steve and his wife, Wendy, who is also a teacher at St. Charles, have three daughters -- Madeline, Tessa and Emma.
