Meet the Head Coach
Craig Coovert begins his third year as head coach of the Bellarmine Fastpitch team this spring, after serving three years as varsity assistant. Hit first two teams qualified for the District tournament after a seven year absence from district play. Craig is a 1996 graduate of Peninsula High School where he was a key contributor to the Peninsula baseball team's 8th place state finish his senior year, earning All-League honors as both a pitcher and first baseman. Craig went on to play baseball at Pacific Lutheran University where he graduated from in 2000.
Craig has also coached C-team volleyball at Bellarmine and was an adult leader with his wife of Bellarmine's Mission Mexico program. Craig, his wife Katrina, and sons, Levi and Seth, live in University Place.
