Textbooks and Books for 2021-22
Student Schedule and Book List
Your student(s) schedule of classes has been sent home. These schedules may be altered somewhat as to class period, but the academic course listings should be accurate unless your family initiates a change. The books listed on the booklist below are those that are required for each class for the next school year. The list of books will not change and it is expected that students will have purchased all books by the start of the school year. The book list is also available online here through MBS Direct.
The online bookstore through MBS Direct is now open. When you order books, please order them for the year. For many books, there are multiple options – purchase new or used or rent new or used for both print and digital versions of books. Please choose one option even if a book is listed in multiple formats. When there are choices, please choose the format that your family decides is best for your student. If you choose a digital book, there is a video below that outlines the process to follow for ensuring that the digital content will be available to your child. Please follow all instructions for stress free access to digital books.
Free Shipping for orders over $99 is available from August 2 to August 15 - we hope that you will take advantage of this benefit.

Non-Credit Card Orders
For those who prefer not to use their credit card, either online or over the phone, Bellarmine will set up accounts and you will be billed for the books you order through your Bellarmine tuition account. There is some set-up necessary from Bellarmine if you choose to have your books billed to your tuition account. Please contact Mary Graves at firstname.lastname@example.org to begin this process.
Book List Updates
Due to changes by publishers, occasionally there are updates/changes to the book list sent to students in the spring. Please check back on this webpage for changes and updates as the summer progresses.
Options for Selling Used Books Back
MBS Direct offers online buyback of books. If you click on the blue button below and then click on "Sell Your Books," it is an easy process to enter ISBNs from a book and determine if the book can be bought back and for how much. MBS will even pay the shipping to send them in.
Half-Price Books: This can be a good place to sell your used novels. They have several stores in our state -- the closest to campus being the one near the Tacoma Mall.
Others: There are many other online companies that will buy books if you do a little bit of searching.
If you have questions, please email faculty member Anita Emery, coordinator of textbook information.
