Bellarmine’s robotics team, Team 360, "The Revolution," attended the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championship in Houston, TX, April 18 - 23.
They were one of 619 teams from around the world to compete at the event and played in the Milstein Division. “The Revolution” ranked in the top 10% worldwide, which is an incredible achievement. They took 24 of their 52 student members to the championship. Since the game’s release in January, they have worked extremely hard to get to the World Championship. It was exciting to see them represent our school and community at this prestigious event.
During the competition, Team 360 had the opportunity to meet and compete against teams from around the world, including Israel, Turkey, France, Brazil, Australia, China, and Japan. This was a great opportunity for our students to learn from different cultures and work together towards a common goal. Attending the World Championship was a fantastic experience for our students, mentors, and parents. They saw the best of the best in FRC teams and had the chance to network with many colleges and prospective employers. Everyone put in a lot of hard work to perform as well as they did this year.
Their goal is to be back at the World Championship next season. Team 360 is determined to continue to grow and excel in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Thank you for your continued support of our team, and congratulations to our students, mentors, and parents on a job well done.
