Alum, Class of '94
Parent, Class of '23, '26, '27

As the Director of Policy and Communications at the Washington State Catholic Conference, Adrienne Corpuz Joyce works on legislative issues for the bishops of the state.  Her current work of applying Catholic Social Teaching to public policy was inspired by her government and theology courses and involvement in Campus Ministry as a Bellarmine student. In addition to public policy work, Adrienne also served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Adrienne served on Bellarmine’s Presidential Search Committee and currently is on Mission and Formation Committee of the Board of Directors, and is also a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion liaison for the Board. She previously served on the Bellarmine Alumni Board/Committee for seven years. Adrienne is also one of the coordinators of Bellarmine’s Filipino Simbang Gabi Mass that takes place during Advent.

Adrienne is mother to one Bellarmine graduate and two current Bellarmine Lions. She is married to Dennis, a venture capitalist in Tacoma, whom she met when they were undergraduate students at the University of Notre Dame. Adrienne also has a graduate degree in public policy from Princeton University. Grateful for the impact Bellarmine has had on her life and that of multiple family members, Adrienne hopes to use her time on the Board to ensure Bellarmine continues to educate and form students who serve the common good for generations to come.
