Please read this important message from Principal Cindy Davis.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It has been a great week, a week filled with anticipation for the year ahead. Our first day of school was one of celebration. We began our morning in Ignatian Formation. The advisors and students spent time together before we gathered as a school in the Booster Gym where we welcomed the newest members of our community and celebrated our Lion Pride. The focus of the assembly was on community. We shared with our students, Bellarmine is a community where we work, play and pray together. Our theme for the year, Imagine: Building a Hope Filled Future, is what we strive to do and will accomplish when we work together.
We believe communication is key to our ability to partner with you, our parents and guardians, we will continue to provide updates twice a month. Please take some time to review the content of this letter.

COVID Update
The following is a useful chart should you test positive for COVID or learn of a close contact COVID-19: Should you quarantine or isolate?
If you have any questions about a potential exposure or need additional information about isolation or quarantine please contact Hannah Parra, COVID coordinator, at parrah@bellarmineprep.org
Our COVID coordinator informs our attendance office, Dean of Students and Vice Principal of Curriculum and Instruction of the isolation/quarantine dates. Faculty are also informed.
It is helpful when the student(s) email their teachers of their absence. Our faculty are equipped to support students who need to isolate/quarantine for an extended period of time.
We encourage you, our parents and guardians, to check Blackbaud to ensure your child(ren) are current with assignments etc..
Blackbaud Update
It is very important that families input all of their medical information into their students' Blackbaud profile, including pre-existing conditions and special medications. This information is used to complete emergency contact cards for Athletics and Retreats. If you have any questions contact parent support.
Thank you to all the first-year parents/guardians who attended Power of Parent Partnership. For a copy of the presentation slides, please click here.

Campus Ministry is pleased to host the Pilgrimage for the senior class on September 17. This is a unique opportunity for seniors to walk with their class along a pilgrimage route at Camp Hamilton, and listen to poignant reflections given by their peers. This is open to all seniors. Registration through Blackbaud closes on September 9.
An important aspect of building a Hope Filled Future is creating a climate and culture where everyone experiences a sense of belonging. We are Bellarmine Lions, formed by our Jesuit values. We encourage our students to embrace what the Jesuits have always known to be the most important aspect of a Jesuit education, the Graduate at Graduation. This has provided the foundation for the education Bellarmine provides. We ask our students to continually strive to be Intellectually Competent, Open to Growth, Loving, Religious, and Socially Just.
Parents and Guardians, thank you for your partnership and for trusting us with the care of your child(ren).
