Beth O'Reilly

Alum, Class of '89
Parent, Class of '20, '24

Currently the Principal of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School and previous teacher at St. Patrick Catholic School, Beth has been a partner with Bellarmine in supporting students as they prepare to be Lions throughout their K-8 parochial education. She currently serves on the Finance Committee of the Board.

Beth spent her first 18 years in executive leadership roles in mobile telecommunications, finance and software engineering at T-Mobile, Microsoft, and AT&T Wireless. Beth’s business expertise and connection to the Tacoma community has led her to serve on other boards she is passionate about - including L’Arche Tahoma Hope and the TEARS Foundation.

A graduate of Bellarmine, she earned her bachelor’s degree in French and Philosophy from Gonzaga University and European Economics and History from the Catholic Institute of Paris. Beth holds a Masters in Teaching from the University of Puget Sound, a Masters in Literature from Boston College, and a MBA and Master’s Certification in Technology Management. Currently, Beth is a Doctoral candidate at Gonzaga University researching technology and the role of Artificial Intelligence and 1:1 computing in the classroom environment.

As an alum (B ‘89) and a current and past Bellarmine parent, the school has played a large role in forming her as a parent, a principal and a teacher. “Growing up at Bellarmine in a community rooted in academic excellence, service, justice and love, informed who I am, and who I want my children to be - people of the world and for the world. Bellarmine is a special place and one I am honored to support as we move into its second century.”
