How did Bellarmine prepare you for your life and career?
“Bellarmine has played a big part in strengthening my faith. I didn't realize how valuable some of the topics and discussions I had in class around faith were until I got older. Bellarmine helped me build a strong spiritual foundation.”

Adaeze is looking forward to giving back to the Bellarmine community by volunteering at an upcoming Women’s Junior Encounter.

What sparked your passion for fitness?
“The foundation of my fitness started at the age of 7 with gymnastics and shortly after I was introduced to track and field and played basketball from middle school up until high school. As a college student I rowed for the University of Washington my freshman year and continued to stay active throughout my time in college by using the gym and environment around me.”

“It heals my anxiety and stress, gives me positive thoughts and motivates me to be the best version of myself. It is a confidence booster for me that elevates my drive to begin a new day in the positive direction.”

What inspired you to get into personal training and start The Ada Project & AdaPresent LLC?
“Working out has always been my therapy. Fitness has gotten me through challenging times in my life and serves as a motivator to become a higher version of myself in all aspects of my life.”

“What has been the most rewarding part of my journey is being given the opportunity to coach others in ascending to a higher version of themselves through corporate wellness fit camps, online coaching, or one on one training. Ada is Present to help you ascend to a higher version of yourself through fitness."

What is Free Flo Fit and how are you involved?
“Free Flo Fit is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization I co-founded. We are on a mission to change the culture around fitness, health and wellness for underprivileged minority communities. We hold workout classes every Saturday in person [in Seattle] and virtually.” To learn more about Free Flow Fi visit, https://www.freeflofit.com/.

What advice do you have for other Alumni looking to get into the fitness industry or who are entrepreneurs, like yourself wanting to start their own business?
“Take action, fail forward, be aggressive with the work and patient with the results. Your journey is a marathon not a sprint. There are going to be many days where you are going to want to give up and throw in the towel and those times you have to remember your WHY. Your why is what is going to motivate you to keep going and keep growing.”
