Chuck Johnston

Chuck graduated from Wilson High School in 1970 where he was Captain of the Football team his senior year.  He has coached youth football as well as numerous other sports for over 31 years in the Tacoma area.  This will be Chuck’s 31st  year coaching Freshman Football.  Chuck and his wife of 53 years, Sue, have 4 children: Josh (an Orthopedic Surgeon in Tacoma); Jeremy, (a Lawyer practicing in Tacoma); Jake, (a musician/producer in Nashville); and Sarah (management position at the Morgan YMCA branch). They also have daughters-in-law, Dana (Joque B-93) and Whitney.  Chuck and Sue are also blessed with 5 grandchildren.  Josh, Jeremy, and Jake played football for the Lions.  Josh and Jeremy both played at PLU and played on National Championship teams.  Chuck has been very active in the community and has practiced law in Tacoma for over 30 years.
