International Students: Application Information

Bellarmine is proud to welcome students from around the world into our community. International students help promote a diverse and vibrant educational community, while creating ongoing connections that go far beyond school walls.

A limited number of international students are accepted each year on a space available basis. This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. As a registered SEVIS school, Bellarmine is authorized to issue I-20s to international students so that they may acquire an F-1 visa. Although boarding facilities are not available, international students are welcome at Bellarmine as long as they live with a parent, relative, or host family.

Students wishing to apply to Bellarmine will need to set up an online account. There is no deadline for International Student Applications. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the international student seats are filled.

Required Application Materials

  • Completed Bellarmine International Student Application Forms (through your online account)
  • Completed Bellarmine International Student Supplement Forms (through your online account)
  • Copy of the current I-20 form (for transfer students only)
  • Copy of passport (page with photo and expiration date)
  • Copy of Visa (for transfer students only)
  • Copy of current school transcript with English translation
  • Two letters of recommendation from teachers or counselors with English translation
  • Copy of English Language test scores (TOEFL, TOEFL JR, iTEP, Duolingo), minimum score should be equivalent to TOEFL 70
  • Interview with the International Programs Director (via Zoom, Skype or in person)
  • Application fee: $100

    Bellarmine is a rigorous college preparatory school that does not offer additional English language learning support. International students must be fluent in English and be able to understand and participate in the classroom.
