What is Simbang Gabi?
Simbang Gabi (“Night Mass”) is a beloved Filipino Catholic tradition dating back to the 16th century. Celebrated over nine consecutive Advent nights, it is a joyful novena honoring Mary and welcoming the coming of Christ.

The celebration is known for:
  • Strong Marian devotion
  • Parol lantern processions
  • Community gathering and festive meals
  • Unity across Catholic parishes
Bellarmine is honored to serve as one of the host sites within the Pierce Deanery’s rotation, joining local parishes and communities in this vibrant and faith-filled tradition.

All are welcome!
