Zeb Madison

Board Chair - Emeritus
Attorney, Madeira Legal
Alum, Class of '97

Zeb Madison owns and operates a law firm, Madeira Legal, in Tacoma’s Proctor District alongside his wife, Morgan Madison B’06. Together, they serve families by providing estate planning guidance and litigating related issues. Prior to founding Madeira, Zeb spent 15 years in public service following an appointment as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington.

Zeb is the Chair of Bellarmine’s Board of Directors. His service to the school began over a decade ago when he led a group of other graduates who shared a common vision for the relationship between the school and its alumni. After spearheading the Alumni Board, Zeb took part in a major capital campaign as a committee member raising money to erect the Connelly Campus Center. In 2015, he joined the Board of Directors where he spent two years leading the Development Committee and two years serving as Vice Chair, before assuming his current role.

Zeb’s involvement with Bellarmine is spurred largely by a debt of gratitude. Bellarmine had a profound impact on his life, both personally and professionally, providing mentors and role models, intellectual curiosity, a spiritual foundation, exposure to the world around him, and a sense of community. In time, Zeb and Morgan have made Bellarmine the charitable focus for their family – both in terms of time and treasure – because they believe wholeheartedly in the power of a Jesuit education and its ability to transform the world, one student at a time.

Outside of Bellarmine, Zeb has taken on leadership roles in the greater community. He is active professionally in the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, as the former Chair of the Judicial Qualifications Committee and current Chair of the Community Service Recognition Committee. Zeb also spent many years serving some of Pierce County’s most vulnerable populations through his efforts as Board Chair for Mi Centro (formerly Centro Latino) – a non-profit cultivating the advancement of Latino and Indigenous communities.

Zeb and Morgan live in Tacoma with their daughter…Bellarmine Class of 2038!
