Bellarmine Robotics World Championship Recap

Bellarmine’s Robotics Program, Team 360 The Revolution, flew to Houston, Texas April 17-20 to compete at the FIRST® Robotics World Championship for the second year in a row. Coming from strong performances from two district events and the PNW Championship, where they placed 3rd, Team 360 was prepared to take on teams from over 50 countries across the globe.
They were placed in the Archimedes Division along with two other PNW teams. After 10 qualification matches across two days, Team 360 came into alliance selection on the third day placing 10th out of 75 teams with a record of 6-4. They were the first pick of the 6th alliance and were accompanied by two teams from Michigan and one from Wisconsin. Team 360 made team history as they won their first ever playoffs match and earned the field's high score. Their playoff record was loss, win, loss, ultimately being defeated by the 4th seeded alliance 115-106.

The team's goal at the start of this season was to qualify for the world championship and be picked for the playoffs in their division. Through their all around performance  they far exceeded their expectations.

Now that competition season has ended, Team 360 would like to thank all of their sponsors, mentors, volunteers, parents, alumni and everyone else who made their 25th season their best yet. Here’s to year 26!
