Dear Parents and Guardians
Spring sports season doesn’t mean spring has arrived. It’s March and I’m watching the weather forecast for snow! There is a lot happening on our campus and it’s an exciting time of the year. It is the season for enrollment and preparing students for graduation. It’s also an important time in the history of Bellarmine. Please take a look at updates on the Presidential Search as well as other pertinent topics.
The following are a few updates:
Presidential Search
Our community, parents, alumni, benefactors etc. are invited to a listening session on Monday, March 6 from 6:00-7:00 in the Campus Center for the third candidate.
Teachers of core academic classes have met with their current students to make recommendations for next year.
Advisors are meeting with advisees on either March 6th or March 10th, both early dismissal days, to complete the course selection process for 2023-2024.
The 2023 Bellarmine Gala is right around the corner, less than 30 days away from April 1st! The Gala reminds us of why we are here – for our amazing students who will become faith-filled adults and compassionate leaders of tomorrow. You are invited to join us for a gourmet meal, complimentary beverages, mobile bidding, and an event filled with fun and fellowship. Deacon Jim Fish will be honored as the St. Robert Bellarmine award recipient this year. There are many ways you can support the Gala:

In honor of Women’s History Month I want to share a quote with you from a woman who I have admired, Maya Angelou. She said, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” We must always remember the impact we have on others. Our words matter but our actions matter more. Together we can change our community to be more accepting of all of God’s children.
