Freshman, Kourtney Kuehlthau - Committed to Doing Justice
Kourtney is an exceptional young woman who draws from her own life experiences to make a meaningful impact on her community. As a recent cancer survivor, she has seen firsthand the difference that volunteers can make in children’s hospitals. Inspired by that experience, Kourtney actively volunteers at Mary Bridge, supporting both fundraising efforts and spending quality time with young patients. Her compassion, resilience, and dedication to service are a true embodiment of this Jesuit value.

Lucy has demonstrated outstanding commitment and generosity through her involvement in the recent Food Drive. She has consistently shown up before and after school nearly every day during the drive, contributing countless hours of her time and energy. Lucy has gone above and beyond to help our community collect food for individuals and families in need, supporting the vital work of the Tacoma Rescue Mission and St. Leo’s. Her selfless dedication is a powerful example of servant leadership in action.

Sophomore, Andrew Deng - Intellectually Competent
Andrew consistently strives for excellence in all that he does. A dedicated student, he has earned top marks on every math test this year—demonstrating both talent and tenacity. His pursuit of academic success is matched by his commitment to maintaining high standards across all areas of his life. Andrew’s drive, discipline, and intellectual curiosity make him a model of what it means to be intellectually competent.

Kate consistently demonstrates deep engagement in her learning. She asks thoughtful questions, challenges herself with advanced coursework, and brings intellectual curiosity to everything she does. Her commitment to excellence is evident in the quality of her work, which is consistently outstanding. Kate exemplifies what it means to be a lifelong learner and a dedicated student.

Senior, Ariana Randquist - Loving
Ariana brings creativity and leadership to her role as Executive Editor in the Lion Journalism program. She consistently produces fresh, engaging content—from timely articles to viral TikToks—that help promote and elevate our school newspaper’s website. But Ari’s impact goes far beyond her editorial skills. She approaches her work with kindness and compassion, offering thoughtful encouragement and even snacks to her peers—especially her lucky classmates in 4th period. Ari’s generous spirit and dedication make her an essential part of our team and community.

Eve has a kind, quiet soul and a remarkable ability to see the best in others. She is thoughtful and intentional, often going out of her way to notice when someone could use a little encouragement or support. Whether it’s a classmate or a teacher, Eve consistently reaches out with kind words and gestures that remind others they are seen, valued, and appreciated. Her quiet strength and compassion make a lasting impact on those around her.

Charlotte has faced a profound loss in her life, yet she has met that experience with remarkable strength, thoughtfulness, and grace. Her gift for expression through writing allows her to reflect deeply and share her journey with honesty and courage. Charlotte’s openness to growth is an inspiration to both her classmates and teachers. Through her resilience, she reminds us all that even in the midst of grief, healing and maturity are not only possible—but powerful.

Jack exemplifies a spirit of curiosity and growth both in and out of the classroom. As a Capstone Scholar, he has pursued an in-depth research project on Brand Management in Professional Athletics, demonstrating both initiative and intellectual engagement. He also serves as one of our Communications Fellows, contributing meaningfully to campus dialogue and outreach. Always willing to lend a hand at school events and eager to take on new challenges, Jack is a dedicated and versatile member of our community.

Heidi is a dedicated member of Campus Ministry, but her impact reaches far beyond her formal involvement. She brings her faith into daily conversations—with both classmates and teachers—offering a quiet but powerful witness to what it means to live with purpose and conviction. Heidi’s faith is deeply genuine, and she consistently reflects a desire to do all things for the greater glory of God. Her presence is a source of inspiration and encouragement within our community.

Mary is a quiet but powerful example of faith in action. In addition to being involved in many school activities, she balances her time as a member of a competitive ski team and as a Sunday School teacher. What stands out most, however, is Mary’s deep commitment to placing her faith and prayer life at the heart of all she does. Her steady devotion and grace serve as an inspiring model for those around her.
