Mike was born and raised in Tacoma, graduated from Wilson High School in 1992 where he played Football and Baseball for the Rams.  He continued his education and football career at Central Washington University earning his B.A. in Law and Justice in 1996.  His professional career started as a gaming agent for the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Commission. In 1999 he started his law enforcement career working as a police officer for the cities of Long Beach, and Fircrest, WA.  In 2005 he shifted careers working the docks as a longshoreman in the Port of Tacoma and is now a Marine Clerk.  In 2020 he earned his real estate license and is currently building a business built on values instilled in him while playing, coaching and studying the game of football.  A three year defensive starter in high school, Mike also brings eight years of coaching experience to Bellarmine, which includes five years as head coach with Lions Youth Football.  In his free time he enjoys camping with his family.
