Ignite Freshman Retreat: January 9

Dear Freshman Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the Ignite Freshman Retreat, I wanted to share a few final reminders and logistical details to help you and your student prepare for the day.
Ignite Retreat Details (Required):
Date: Friday, January 9
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: On campus at Bellarmine
Food: Lunch and snacks will be provided

Students should arrive on campus and check in at the Names Gym (entrance in the main school parking lot) and dress comfortably in appropriate school attire. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and leave their phones at home.

The retreat has been planned by upperclassmen in the Campus Ministry Leadership class and is supported by all faculty at Bellarmine.

This year we are excited to welcome Giancarlo Bernini, a national Catholic speaker and magician, to give our retreat keynote. You can find out more about him on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WDO6n4Nee0

Closing Mass for Families
Parents and guardians are warmly invited to join us for the closing Mass, which concludes the retreat day.

Location: Booster Gym
Arrival: 4:30 p.m.
Mass Begins: 5:00 p.m.
Conclusion: Approximately 6:00 p.m.

We will be using the information students previously submitted regarding allergies and food preferences. If you have not yet reached out about a medical or dietary concern—or if something has changed—please email me as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Ignite is often one of a student’s first retreat experiences at Bellarmine, and it plays an important role in helping freshmen feel grounded, supported, and connected within our community. Thank you for your partnership and trust.

Please feel free to reach out to Mr. Patulot with any last-minute questions or concerns.
