Bellarmine Preparatory School Names Laura Rose Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Community Engagement

Bellarmine welcomes Laura Rose as their new Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Community Engagement.
Dear Bellarmine Community,

On behalf of Bellarmine, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Rose, MBA, CFRE, CAP, as the new Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Community Engagement.

Rose brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in building partnerships, strengthening communities, and advancing the missions of education-focused organizations. Raised by two schoolteachers, she developed an early appreciation for the transformative power of education and a deep belief in preparing young people for lives of service and leadership.

She most recently served as Director of Development at Washington STEM, where she worked with partners across philanthropy, industry, education, and government to support initiatives that expand access to high-quality STEM education and career pathways for students across Washington state.

“I am honored to join the Bellarmine community and build on its rich tradition of educating students for lives of service and leadership. I look forward to strengthening the community support that advances this mission for current and future students.”

Prior to Washington STEM, Rose served as Director of Development and Communications at Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma, where she led advancement, communications, and community engagement efforts while helping strengthen connections among families, alumni and supporters of the school’s mission. Rose previously held several advancement leadership roles at Pacific Lutheran University, including Executive Director of Alumni & Constituent Engagement.

A Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), Rose holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University. She is an active leader in the philanthropic community, having served as Board Member and Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals South Sound Chapter.

As Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Community Engagement, Rose will oversee development, alumni engagement, and advancement strategy, partnering closely with school leadership, the Board of Directors, and the broader Bellarmine community to strengthen philanthropic support and Bellarmine's long-term vision as we prepare for our centennial in 2028.

Please join me in welcoming Laura Rose to Bellarmine as we continue our shared work of forming young men and women of competence, compassion and conscience.

AMDG,
Dr. Kelly Goodsell
