Preparation for 2026-2027 School Year

We hope you are enjoying a restful summer. As you begin to think about the upcoming school year, the Principal’s Office would like to share some important information to help your student feel prepared and confident on day one.
Below you will find key areas to review, along with a brief description, links to additional information and contacts for support.

Academic Preparation
  • Student Schedules
    • Students' schedules are available for review in myBellarmine.
    • Schedule changes are strongly discouraged and will only be considered for the following concerns: incomplete schedules (e.g., a missing class), duplicate courses (e.g., two sections of the same class), or incorrect course placement (e.g., College Prep vs. AP/Honors). Requests based on preference, including changes of mind or requests for specific teachers, will not be honored. If a schedule meets one of the criteria above, please contact your student’s counselor.
  • Summer Assignments
    • Assignments are required for all students and must be completed over the summer break.
    • Please review the requirements for each subject area. A list of departments and their specific assignments can be found on myBellarmine in Resources: Summer Assignments.
    • Assignments are due on the first day of classes. Students should be prepared to submit their work to their teachers at that time.
    • If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the appropriate Department Chair.
Digital Foundations & Tech Essentials Summer Course (New and Transfer Students Only)
  • Availability: Starting August 3 and ending August 28, new and transfer students can log into myBellarmine to complete the tech readiness course. Please allow sufficient time to complete the course, and note that attendance at one Google Meet session is required.
  • Required Device: Students must use their Bellarmine-managed iPad to complete the course. Details regarding iPad pickup times and management setup appointments have been previously sent to families.
    • iPad Set-Up Reminder
      • If you purchased your student's new iPad outside of Bellarmine, you must have it set up with the Ed Tech department. To schedule an appointment, click here.
      • If you have any questions, please email parentsupport@bellarmineprep.org for assistance.
  • Completion: Upon finishing, students will earn a badge confirming their tech readiness, which automatically notifies their teachers that they are prepared for the school year.

  • Chain of Care/ Key Contacts
    • Bellarmine is committed to fostering a welcoming, safe, and Jesuit-centered environment where students can thrive as children of God, learners, and active members of the community. This commitment is supported through a coordinated Chain of Care, a network of departments that provides academic, spiritual, social-emotional, cultural, technological, and co-curricular support. Together, these teams ensure students receive the guidance and resources they need to succeed both in and beyond the classroom. For a complete list of key contacts and Chain of Care resources, visit: myBellarmine > Resources > Key Contacts/Chain of Care.
  • Power of Parent Partnership
    • The Power of Parent Partnership is a one-hour, parents-only workshop designed to help families support their students at home and connect with Bellarmine’s administrators and key leaders. This invaluable session covers navigating digital learning (iPad use), understanding the structure of Bellarmine’s academic supports, setting up complementary systems at home for freshman academic success, and Bellarmine’s rules of academic engagement. It’s also a great opportunity to meet and network with other parents committed to supporting their children through these formative years. Register here.

  • Student handbook
    • Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! Whether you are new to Bellarmine or returning for another year, we are excited to have you as part of our community. As we prepare for the year ahead, we ask that you review the Student Handbook as a family, as there are some updates and changes that may be unfamiliar. The handbook is an important resource for understanding our expectations and policies, and we encourage families to discuss it together. Thank you for your partnership, and we look forward to a wonderful year together!

  • Parking/Transportation
    • Student Parking Registration (2026-2027): Student parking on campus remains limited, so priority registration is given to rising seniors and juniors. In May, these students received an email inviting them to register their vehicles and secure a student parking permit for 2026-2027; registration will remain open for them through September 18, 2026.
Any permits remaining after junior and senior registration will be made available to interested sophomores through a lottery system. Sophomore students who are at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license will receive an email with a Google Form to express interest on or shortly after September 18. Submitting the form does not guarantee a student parking permit- if interest exceeds availability, a computer-generated lottery will determine recipients.
