Trielle Alstead B’18 serves as the Co-Head Varsity Coach for the Bellarmine Girls Lacrosse program, bringing five years of coaching experience and a deep personal connection to the team as a Bellarmine alumna. A graduate of the University of Washington, she studied Community, Environment, and Planning with a focus in Architecture.
Coach Alstead emphasizes a holistic approach to coaching, prioritizing the physical, mental, and emotional well being of her student athletes. She is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where players feel motivated to grow, challenged to improve, and excited to be part of the team. Grounded in the belief that the team is a family, she fosters accountability, resilience, and unity, encouraging her athletes to celebrate successes together and learn collectively from challenges.
Inspired by the BeBellarmine mission, Coach Alstead strives to instill values of loyalty, pride, integrity, and commitment in her players while pursuing excellence in every aspect of the game. She encourages her team to focus on daily growth, reminding them that long-term success is built one step at a time.
A former Bellarmine lacrosse player herself, Coach Alstead began playing as a freshman and continued at the club level while attending UW. She is passionate about giving back to the program that shaped her and considers it an honor to coach the next generation of Lions. Outside of coaching, she enjoys playing piano and guitar and serves as a worship leader at her church.
