Brian Jensen

Head Coach
Brian enters his 12th year as head coach and 23nd season overall at Bellarmine.  Brian spent six years (1997-2002) as an assistant coach under Mike Baldassin and five years under Tom Larsen.  Brian holds closely many of the LION Pride traditions and the “More Than Winning” philosophy put in place by Coach Baldassin and Coach Larsen.  Brian served as Offensive Coordinator and was part of the coaching staff when the Lions won multiple league championships throughout that time. Coach Jensen experienced state playoff berths with the Lions in 1997, 2000, 2002, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. He has also coached Bellarmine’s baseball C-Team.

Prior to returning to Bellarmine in 2010, Brian was the Offensive Coordinator with Idaho State University in the Big Sky Conference where he coached the quarterbacks (2007-2009). Brian joined the Bengals staff after spending four seasons (2003-06) on Head Coach John Zamberlin’s staff at Central Washington University as Co-Offensive Coordinator.  Coach Jensen graduated from Central Washington University  in 1997 with a degree in education.  He played football there from 1992-95, where he was a member of the 1995 NAIA National Championship Team.  In 2006, the National Championship team was inducted into the CWU Athletic Hall of Fame.  Brian was also inducted into the Curtis High School Athletic Hall of Fame that same year.  Brian and his wife, Lindsey, have a daughter Rylee B'27 and son Tyler B'29.
