The Bellarmine Robotics Team, The Revolution, kicked off their fall season with an exciting start, competing in two preseason events this month, playing last season's game Reefscape.
At their first competition, hosted by Sammamish High School, The Revolution finished the qualification rounds ranked 3rd out of 37 teams and went on to captain the 3rd alliance in playoffs. Their second event, Girls’ Generation, is a long-standing team tradition that highlights the talents of women in robotic, giving them the opportunity to lead on the drive team and in the pits as they service the robot. The female Revolutionaries rose to the challenge, competing with the fifth most difficult schedule of the event and earning the spot as first pick for the 3rd alliance. While the team didn’t advance as far as they hoped in either competition, the strong turnout from new members showcased The Revolution’s resilience, teamwork, and commitment to growth. With preseason now behind them, The Revolution is preparing for the official competition season, with all sub-teams in full swing.
