Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony

Graduation Sunday, May 31. Here you will find important updates and information about this memorable day.
Commencement Details
  • Date: Sunday, May 31st
  • Time: 11:00 AM (Doors open at 9:30 AM)
  • Location: Tacoma Dome
  • Tickets: Not required
  • Conclusion: Approximately 1:00 PM

Entry & Security
  • Guest entry: Upper NW & Upper SW doors (see attached maps)
  • Seniors must arrive at the Lower NW entrance by 10:15 AM for check-in
  • Seniors will check in with advisors and line up with walking partners by 10:45am
Important Notes:
  • Reserved seating is now closed; accessible seating remains available in upper levels
  • All attendees must pass through metal detectors
  • Clear bag policy enforced (12”x6”x12” or smaller; small clutch purses allowed)
  • No balloons or noise makers (flowers are permitted)
  • All weapons (including knives of any size) are prohibited
Parking
  • $20 per car
  • Main lots: A, C, D, F, G
  • Disabled parking: Lots E & K
  • Additional parking available nearby (e.g., Pierce Transit garage)
Seating & Attire
  • Seating is open and first come, first served
  • Screens will be available for viewing throughout the Dome
Student Attire:
  • Caps and gowns are required
  • No decorating caps/gowns
  • Only Bellarmine-approved stoles, cords, and medallions permitted
  • Honor cords will be distributed at rehearsal (May 27th)
Dress Expectations:
  • Formal attire required
    • Men: dress pants, appropriate shoes/socks
    • Women: dresses, skirts, or dress pants with appropriate shoes 
Graduation Rehearsal 
  • Rehearsal is May 27th during formation
  • Graduation rehearsal is required
Baccalaureate
  • Baccalaureate Mass: Friday, May 29th at 6:00 PM
    • Students are encouraged to wear gowns (no caps)
    • All cords, stoles, and medals may be worn
    • For those unable to attend, Mass will be livestreamed and can be viewed here: bellarmineprep.org/mass2026

Photography
GradImages will be the official photographer. Proofs will be sent within 3–5 days and can be ordered online at gradimages.com.
